And we are more than happy to collaborate with other bands, acts and DJs on the bill to ensure your event runs as smoothly as possible

Note: for events larger than 1000 guests we would hire in additional PA equipment. We have a very reliable provider for sound
equipment that we can use but additional charges would apply
Why use The Jjarrs?
We have a strong track record of delivering amazing live performances at large events and providing sound support for other acts

For large or multi-band events, you'll need a dedicated sound engineer. This will be a significant extra cost on top of performance fees. Our combined service to perform and engineer will be more cost effective

We bring all the necessary equipment for multi-band events, including mics, stage monitors, a drum riser, drum kit, drum mics, DI boxes, mic stands, and a high-quality sound system

We’ll work closely with you during the planning process to offer advice and help with technical details
​
Before the event, we co-ordinate with other acts to understand their needs and ensure everything runs smoothly
​
In addition to our sound engineer, the entire band helps as stage techs, assisting with transitions and ensuring smooth changes between acts

You can have peace of mind knowing that our experienced band will take care of everything, so you don’t have to worry about the details

Your stage supplier may offer to provide a sound system and even an engineer. Not all sound engineers are familiar with setting up live bands, so it’s important to confirm

If you're organizing an event, you'll need to provide power for the stage. In remote locations, this means hiring a generator; in other venues, you'll need to run long power cables. Make sure you get advice on how much power you’ll need or the generator capacity to rent
​
When choosing bands, ensure they arrive early for a soundcheck, typically before the event starts. Soundchecking helps the band perform at their best from the first note
​
If you’re not MCing the event yourself, don’t assume the sound engineer will handle it. If you are MCing, make sure the engineer has a microphone ready for you
