If you are a production company, events manager or booking agent we understand that your requirements are somewhat different to that of a ccouple arranging a wedding or someone organising a private event. We are used to dealing with the requirements of event professionals and we aim to co-operate constructively and professionly at all times.

The Jjarrs have provided entertainment for a broad spectrum of events, from festivals, fund raisers and celebrations to award ceremonies and corporate events in a wide variety of locations ranging from 'gigs in a field' all the way through to venues such as Alexandra Palace, Newmarket Race Course and Brockett Hall (Hertfordshire). We are indeed the band for almost any occaision!   

 

We are familiar and comfortable working with third party sound engineers, stage managers and technicians in large or prestigious venues. We appreciate that whilst our role is to provide entertainment to clients or guests there are other personnel who's role is to ensure the smooth running of the entire event.

We are a 'self sufficient band', in that we do carry our own sound system and lighting rigs in various formats but we also have access to our own professional sound engineer with a substantial catalogue of equipment to ensure our sound and performance is perfect even in the largest of venues.

All bookings and engagements must always be supported by a formal contract, and payment terms will be agreed at the point of engaging the bands services. Any dealings of a contractual nature should be addressed to Matthew Parish in the first instance unless otherwise instructed.

 

All engagements are always for the entire band as one single entity. Where circumstances require it the band will provide deputies for certain positions as and when necessary.
