Tim is our saxophonist, playing alto and tenor saxes. Tim plays solos and provides colour and feel, with the customary well placed stabs and harmony. Tim is the band's brass section in tandem with Alan on the keyboard,

History:

Originally a guitarist and vocalist in teenage bands Tim took several years off to raise a family, and then put his mind to learning the sax, fulfilling a lifelong desire. He returned to the circuit as part of a Blues Brothers Tribute band, and more recently in pop covers bands. Tim joined The JJarrs in early 2008 and is loving the atmosphere and banter.

Influences:

Jimi Hendrix, David Sanborn, Junior Walker...... and so many others. Tastes include heavy rock, mainstream pop ballards, blues, soul, ska, reggae.....

Other interests:

Loves rocket science, and brain surgery, but doesn’t have the time.
